We built "live call transfer". Sellers asked us to slow down.
The setup was straight from the US playbook.
Our qualifier talks to the homeowner, the homeowner says yes, I want to meet with an agent. The qualifier presses a button. The system finds the best-rated agent for that area and connects him live, while the seller is still on the phone.
In Lithuania the typical answer was: no pressure, it's fine, let him call me and we'll agree on a time.
So we checked the numbers at UNTU (HUNTERS' predecessor in Lithuania).
Agent calls after 5 minutes, after 1 hours, after 3 hours: the conversion to a meeting was very similar.
I know the speed-to-lead rule. Every minute you wait, the lead cools.
I think it comes from a different product. Someone who has decided to meet an agent about selling their home doesn't change their mind in fifteen minutes.
What they want is a bit of space, and a call the same day. That's it.
There's a second effect. An agent who picks up a transferred call in 90 seconds looks like an agent with nothing else to do. A good one is busy. Sellers understand that.
Our experience is different from the textbook, and it comes from one market. If yours says otherwise, I'd like to compare notes.
